** This is one of my most popular posts and since I am traveling for the next 10 days, I thought it would be fun to let you read some blasts from the pasts! Enjoy!**
We were driving back from lunch and my husband was asking me about scheduling. It sounded a lot like he was asking me for some great hack, because he noticed how much I was able to get done in a day.
I told him that when you consistently do what you love, you have a different relationship with time.
You become more efficient and effective with time, because you want to have more of it. Rather than thinking in terms of “killing time” or “wasting time,” your framework comes from a place of abundance. The sort of questions you ask yourself are more along the lines of “how can I be more effective so I can experience even more?”
Is the glass half full or half empty?
It’s kind of like the distinction made in the graphic above that answers that age-old question with a new perspective. Isn’t it true that the glass is always full?
The old way gave us a framework of either it is full or empty. The new way, however, gives us the answer based on the WHOLE scientific truth.
I think time management is similar to that graphic and comes down to what I believe is the number one rule of humans:

THE SECRET SAUCE
Have you noticed that when you come from a place of abundance and love, you tend to be more generous, more caring and want to share that spirit with those around you?
Sharing, as you probably already know, amplifies the feeling of any experience. Science tells us that we are hardwired to be givers. So why couldn’t our giving apply to setting up our lives and our calendars to win as well?
This quick video has some key points to help you get more and give more in your life. Check it out below:
When you give yourself the gift of planning your activities based on how you want to feel at the end of the day, you can change the quality of your life.
Then you start asking yourself questions like, “what activities give me the emotional experiences that I want?” And when you start to do that, your calendar can become an opportunity to be explored rather than something to be endured, minimized or avoided.
Try it for one day and see.
